The Center for Jewish Education is proud to provide a variety of classes, programs, events, and services to the Omaha Jewish community.  Current happenings include:

Kripke Library Dorothy Kaplan Book Discussion Group with Gary Katz.  The group next meets on October 21 at 1 p.m. Call Gary at 334-6462 for more details.

Kripke Jewish Federation Library is open Monday 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  On-line circulation catalog available 24 hours a day.  E-books now available!  Call Gary at 334-6462 for more information.

Derech Torah: Judaism 101 with Dr. Guy Matalon will meet Monday evenings, October 4 through March 21, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. 

Modern Jewish Poetry led by Gary Katz will meet from 12-1 p.m., October 8, 15, 22 and 29 in the Kripke Jewish Federation Library.

37th Annual Jewish Book Month Events!  Jewish Book Month Luncheon - Wednesday, November 17 with Cathlene Schine, author of "The Three Weissman's of Westport"; ChanuKids, Sunday, November 21; Jewish Book Month Author Event - Tuesday, December 7 with Gregory Levy, author of "Shut-up, I'm Talking" and "How to Make Peace in the Middle East in Six Months or Less".

A wide variety of Scholarship and Grant Opportunities are available for those in need of financial assistance for residential Jewish summer camps, Jewish Community Center summer camps, Israel peer programs, Friedel Jewish Academy, Pennie Z. Davis Child Development Center preschool, youth group activities, and more.
