YOUNG OMAHA EMERGING LEADERS (YOEL)
For young adults wanting to get more involved and give back to our Jewish community, YOEL is a 10-session, curriculum-based program that provides an opportunity for Omaha’s young Jewish community of 25–40-year-olds to socialize and engage with Jewish peers, professionals, and volunteers. Through a variety of interactive sessions, participants will learn about leadership styles and communication, the Jewish organizations that operate within Omaha, the successes we celebrate, and the challenges we face, to assume leadership roles in Jewish Omaha. For more information and/or to participate in YOEL in 2025, please contact Stacy Feldman at sfeldman@jewishomaha.org.

At the Jewish Federation of Omaha, our agencies bring people together to work towards an end to bigotry, hatred, and antisemitism. We educate about the Holocaust and genocide and activate our local change makers to improve public policy, promote early anti-bias education, and make a difference in our world.
JEWISH COMMUNITY RELATIONS COUNCIL
The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) is dedicated to working in common cause to enhance cooperation with other religious, racial, ethnic, and civic groups to foster a just, democratic and pluralistic society as well as promote the security of Israel and Jews everywhere. Guided by Jewish values, the JCRC is a nonpartisan agency that advocates, educates, collaborates, and mobilizes action on issues important to the Jewish community and the greater community. That work requires fostering and strengthening relationships across groups from different communities as well as our own, and often, communities with different beliefs, perspectives, and priorities. For more information about JCRC contact Sharon Brodley at sbrodkey@jewishomaha.org.
INSTITUTE FOR HOLOCAUST EDUCATION
The Institute for Holocaust Education (IHE) offers educational resources, workshops, survivor testimony, and integrated arts programming to students, educators, and the public. The IHE also provides support to Holocaust survivors in our community. Our goal is to ensure that the tragedy of the Holocaust is remembered and that appropriate, fact-based instruction and materials are available to students, educators, and the public to enable them to learn the lessons of the Holocaust. As a result, we strive to inspire our community to create a more just and equitable society. For more information about IHE contact Scott Littky at slittky@ihene.org.
Our goal is to cultivate a thriving, welcoming, and inclusive Jewish community by providing Jewish learning and engagement opportunities for every life stage, supporting our agencies and partner organizations, and connecting the Jewish people.
